I consider myself a Star Wars lore nut. If anyone has any topics or questions they want to discuss, bring it on. We can do this! LOL:-D

I don't really have a lore question. But now that they are gonna start making more star wars movies, what direction would you like to see it go? I personally would like to see the very beginning. Nothing but jedi, with a few that secretly want more power. Then at the end of the movie show one of the dark jedi fend off a good one an accidentally use force lightning on him. In shock of what he's done, but then gives off a evil grin of what he's learned. And then have a somewhat sinister ending. But thats me, what about you?

I think they need to continue the Skywalker story if it is going to be episode seven. Follow han and leias kids and Luke's kid.
A jedi origin story would be great. But I would like to see it as a stand alone movie or as a different new series of movies.

I personally would like them to do a series on Darth Bane, he has a good story. I recommend reading the 3 books in his series.

Yes a Bane movie or three would be awesome. Bane and Zannah. Pure kick ass!

I don't know what happened to Bane's lightsaber, but I do know Zannah's saberstaff survives to the prequel movie timeline. It was handed down master to apprentice up to Sidious. Sidious gave it to Count Dooku, and Dooku gave it to General Grevious to train with. He used it until he started claiming sabers from jedi he killed. I assume Zannah's staff was given back to Sidious. I don't j now whay became of it.

I'm surprised no one on here has mentioned revan for a movie. That would be a good one too, I think. But yes bane would be a badass one to see.

Actually I do have a question. I've seen the term 'grandmaster' used a few times associated with jedi. Is that a true term, and if so was yoda one? I never once heard the term in any of the movies, but have seen the term used a few times when I was reading on the wookiepidea. Can ya shed some light on that one for me please? And again not sure how accurate that site is, but its always bothered me. Cause if it is a true term, then I would figure yoda would be a prime candidate in my opinion.

Although not used in the movies, Yoda was the Jedi Grandmaster. It is a legit term. Its basically the oldest and most powerful force using Jedi is the GM. Lightsaber skill really doesn't have a say so in the GM status/election. Mace Windu was second on in the council behind Yoda. Mace was not strong with force telekinesis, but he was a master swordsman and had a somewhat unique ability called shatterpoint.
The GM term is used quite a bit in the books and extended universe. Luke becomes GM after he rebuild the order.

I don't see them making a Revan movie. I agree that it would be good, but Revan's story is contained within kotor one and two, the revan book, and finished in tor.

Thanks for your answer fist. I appreciate you clearing that up for me. And really luke was a gm? I need to read the books, cause from the movies, he wasn't strong with the force at all. He must have done some serious training after rotj.

Greatest Sith ever? I would have to say Bane. He started the Rule of Two. Read the Bane trilogy if you have not. Greatest Jedi ever? IMO, Obi-Wan Kenobi. A lot of people feel that Luke is the greatest ever, and he is called that in some of the books. I disagree. Read the Kenobi book, and I think you will agree. I will expand on this later if you want. Got some weeklys to finish in SWTOR lol. You should come play with us on JC man. i think you would enjoy it. Dodger and Uncreative sure do
